PRIVACY POLICY OF ROHELINE LAINE OÜ AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The objective of Roheline Laine OÜ is to be your reliable partner who protects and respects your rights upon the processing of personal data. Personal data constitutes data that Roheline Laine OÜ collects for the provision of claims handling services and/or 24-hour assistance services in order for insurance companies and insurance brokers, leasing companies, vehicle importers and/or dealers and other legal persons to be able to comply with the obligations in relation to the provision of claims handling and various 24-hour assistance services arising from the contracts entered into with them, and to whom the data subject has previously granted their approval for the transferring of data to a third party.
We collect data in writing, in a format that can be reproduced in writing, by means of phone recordings or via the damage claim form on the website of Roheline Laine OÜ upon the communication of which the person filling in the form must verify their approval for the processing of data. Access to processing the data collected in writing and to phone recordings is only granted to persons for whom such access is required for the performance of their duties.
Roheline Laine OÜ may use service providers for providing 24-hour assistance services, such as other partner companies providing analogical emergency services to whom we transfer personal data on the basis of a contract and whose tasks include, for example, the transport of land vehicles.
We mainly process personal data in the European Union and in the European Economic Area. Should we transfer data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, we will ensure the protection of personal data at the required level by applying verified standard contracts as permitted by legislation.
SECURITY OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Roheline Laine OÜ only stores personal data strictly for the minimum required period of time as provided in legislation. Personal data whose storage deadline has passed will be destroyed by using the best practice and the procedure established by Roheline Laine OÜ.
Roheline Laine OÜ has established guidelines and procedural rules for ensuring the security of personal data.
Roheline Laine OÜ confirms that it complies with the requirements relating to the protection of personal data applicable in the European Union.
Upon the occurrence of any incidents in relation to personal data, Roheline Laine OÜ will implement any and all required measures in order to mitigate the consequences and for managing similar risks in the future. Roheline Laine OÜ registers all incidents and directly notifies the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate and the data subject thereof (e.g. via e-mail).
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECT
You are entitled to withdraw your approval for the use of your personal data at all times by providing written notice of your respective wish.
If we have collected your data for the performance of obligations arising from the contracts of another legal person, you should submit a written application to the legal person in a contractual relationship with you. Based on the application, we will be able to delete the collected data from our information system or transfer the data to you digitally (by means of a screenshot) or on paper as a printout.
Your personal data will be deleted from our database in a volume that is in compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Estonia after you have submitted the respective request in a format that can be reproduced in writing or after the expiry of the requirement for the storage of data regulated by the legislation of the Republic of Estonia. In order to prove the deletion of the data, you will be provided an extract of our database log (screenshot) at your request.
AMENDMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The applicable privacy terms and conditions will be amended by Roheline Laine OÜ when absolutely necessary, i.e. upon any changes in services and amendments in legislation. We recommend that you regularly examine the valid terms and conditions on our website.
